[ * ] CHAPTER ONE: ROAD TO RACCOON CITY. brooke was bullied as a kid. that and the expectation that came with living in a small town. everyone knows everyone, & she kind of hated it. it was hard to have any kind of image outside of what people wanted from you. so the second she graduated college, brooke hit the road as a traveling journalist. not too soon after doing freelance jobs, she landed a full-time gig in raccoon city. brooke was suddenly in every house around 6pm as a reporter. she's started looking into umbrella, but she's too late. little does she know, everything is about to crash around her.
[ * ] CHAPTER TWO: SURVIVING RACCOON CITY. raccoon city happens, and for the longest time, she can't come to terms with surviving that. surviving that... that thing they called mr. x. it all started at the RCBS news station. she came back from a story, and the whole newsroom had turned. she watched in horror as one of her co-workers attacked another one of the reporters. she barely has time to react before her reporting partner grabbed her hand & dragged her out of the room… slapping a gun in her hand. they survive.
[ * ] CHAPTER THREE: STOPPING THE OUTBREAK IN SPAIN. after rc, brooke wants to make a difference, so is hired & trained by terrasave. they send her out to spain where they think a new disease has spread… & instead, she ends up finding the president’s daughter. brooke is told by luis that she contains antigens that leave her immune to the viruses. after spain, she is placed in witness protection from umbrella, while also working with government scientists to see if a cure can be made from her. umbrella desires brooke because she could be a control for their experiments.
[ * ] CHAPTER FOUR: ENTERING INFINITE DARKNESS. brooke finds out about things going on at the white house, & sneaks away to join the fight. however, during all of this, she is kidnapped along with claire by wilson for getting too nosy. she was in the building in that last scene, & finds out from wilson that he used her data that she was giving to find a cure to instead build the inhibitors, & using the virus to imprison people. after this, she runs away from the safehouse – only bringing her handlers from terrasave.
